History

The Falls Church High School Orchestra Department was established in 1972 under the direction of Theresa Fay. The started program started with six violinists enrolled in orchestra. Since 1972, there have been thirteen orchestra directors at Falls Church High School. Today there are three performing ensembles with 120 students enrolled in the program.
